cancel in one tap, no retention flow. annual renews yearly and we email you before it does.

the first honest spending audit in chapter one usually frees more than the subscription costs. if it does not, the one-tap cancel is real.

the fine print, up front

Why does the trial need a card?

Because we would rather be honest about it than surprise you. The date the trial ends is shown when you start it and again in the app. Cancel before then and you pay nothing.

Why is annual the default?

Two reasons, both stated plainly. It is the better arithmetic: $99 a year is about $8.25 a month, two months free. And people who commit to a year are the ones who actually finish the climb; the method is a practice, not a fortnight. Monthly is right there if you would rather walk before you run, and both cancel in one tap.

Does the annual plan auto-renew?

Yes, once a year, and we email you before it happens. No silent renewals, no hoping you forgot. Turning renewal off is the same one tap as everything else.

Is the book the same price everywhere?

Yes. $9.99 for the digital edition, on Kindle or bought direct from us, and either one unlocks the app for 30 days. We see no reason your price should depend on which button you pressed.

What happens to my data if I leave?

Email us and we'll export your data, then you can delete the account in settings. Deletion is real: the numbers are gone, not archived for a win-back campaign.

Is the calculator really free?

Yes, and it stays free. It is how most people meet us. No account is needed to see your numbers.

How new is this?

New. Ascenza launched in 2026. The method is older than we are: it is the consensus of the 50 most popular finance books, sequenced. We earn trust by showing our math, not by renting testimonials.
